Stem – straight, bronze-green.
Flowers – lilac, almost spherical, clustered on the upright stem.
Leaves - deep green, blade-like
Sun or partial shade.
Moist, well drained, light. Tolerates neutral soil but prefers acid.
Hardy
Split and divide large clumps in spring or autumn. Generally disease free. Protect young growth from slugs and snails.
Divide plants in spring.
