Shallow aquatic, or moist ground, reed with twisted, spiral stems. Useful for pond edges.
All year round.
Habit – dense mat of twisted stems. H: 45cm S: 60cm
Stems – narrow, dark green, twisted.
Flowers – small, tufty, brown flowers in summer.
Full sun to partial shade.
Acidic. Moist to wet – up to 8cm of water.
Fully hardy.
Lift and divide congested plants from mid-spring to early summer.
By division in spring or early summer.
